We offer opportunities for people to explore different hobbies, develop new interests, join classes, attend public events, volunteer, or simply enjoy the lively aspects of their community. These experiences enable individuals to actively participate in their local community, encouraging the creation of new friendships and a variety of social connections.
We assist with self-care tasks, including help with eating, bathing, dressing, mobility, personal hygiene, and other daily activities. Additionally, we offer support with light housework, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, and grocery shopping.
We provide self-management support, which includes assistance in encouraging safe and responsible behavior, exercising good judgment, and respecting our members' health and well-being. We also help with communication, budgeting, coping skills, and offer emotional support, as well as guidance to access additional resources members may need.
We provide personal assistance to members in performing tasks they would normally handle if not for their disability. This includes guiding, directing, or overseeing self-care and self-management activities.
We provide personal management, which includes teaching members self-care and self-management skills, physical fitness, behavior management, sensory and motor skills, psychological needs, and interpersonal skills.
We offer community engagement that includes participation in spiritual activities of the member's choice, while also encouraging personal development and growth opportunities.
We help improve our clients' personal well-being through both direct and indirect interventions.
Our Focus
is to assist the individuals we serve to be independent and to gain increased choice and control over their lives. Activities in the home are driven by the desires and preferences of the people who live there, including their individual skill development goals, basic day-to-day life choices and social and recreational activities.
